Yarn Advent Calendar 2023 ‘The Frozen North’

The return of the Yorkshire Yarn Advent!

Needlecase, Knitting Pretty and Ewe and Yarn have put our heads together with Hannah of George and Rose again, to bring you our Yorkshire Yarn Advent Calendar for 2023 titled ‘The Frozen North’

Hannah has created a bespoke set of 12 20g skeins to complement this theme and I will provide a knitting pattern, although you may already have a pattern in mind and that’s fine. Last years pattern was quite a complicated Entrelac one so for 2023 I am having a change of pace and creating something that will be far more simple to do but with some interesting touches so that you don’t get bored.

Myself, Di (KP) and Sharon (E&Y) have chosen 12 gifts so you will have an exciting package containing either a mini skein of yarn or a gift every day from 1st December through to Christmas Eve. All the gifts/skeins will be presented in a traditional style advent calendar box with window for you to open each day.

For those that wish to there will be a knit/crochet-a-long from 1-12-23 to 24-12-23 when you can follow my pattern or use one that you have chosen yourself.
