For those of you who read our most recent post detailing the experience of making one of the Needlecase cushion kits, you may have noticed we mentioned some exciting news??
Well here is that exciting news, Judith’s cushion kits have been accepted into the Fabrication shop, “the craftiest place in Leeds”! The organization behind the Leeds Fabrication store is Fabrication Crafts Ltd, which is a social enterprise aiming to support micro craft and fashion businesses. Just like we do here at Needlecase, Fabrication teaches craft skills in store as well as selling handmade products and crafts for over 40 local artists, designers and makers.
The move in to Fabrication is exciting for us here at Needlecase because it provides the opportunity for us to have a presence in Leeds as well as Tadcaster and we’re hoping Judith’s knitting kits go down a storm. If you’re interested in bobbing down to Fabrication you’ll find it in The Light, Leeds, LS2 8NG.
And you’ll also find the Needlecase knitting kits right there in the window! The cushion in display is the Chain Stripes cushion kit in mid gray, which uses British Jacob Yarn, Aran thickness.
Also in Fabrication is the Petal Catkin cushion kit (the one we blogged about) in multiple colours (including Rose, Sage), which uses the West Yorkshire Spinners’ Blue Faced Leicester Ecru yarn. If you’ve had a go at a Needlecase cushion kit, please let us know how you got on and send us a picture of the finished thing!
