Cable knitting never goes out of fashion. I love the effect that it gives as I always feel it makes everything look cozy and squishy.
Cable knitting gives a distinctive texture to your work creating textures raised above the surface as the stitches twist and cross around, under and over each other.
In this workshop you will learn how to create a cable, how to use the cable needle and how to read a chart for cable knitting.
We will use one of my patterns to create a cushion or a Christmas Stocking which you can take away to finish at home.
You will need to bring with you 4 & 5mm knitting needles and a cable needle. Yarn for the project will be provided.
