Knitting’s Not Just for Nanas

We’ve known for aaagggess now, that knitting has been growing in popularity and quickly becoming a trendy pass time for younger generations and even a few famous faces.

One knit, one purl: Cara Delevingne posted a picture of herself knitting before the Giles catwalk show in London onto Instagram

However, just in case anyone out there is quite convinced, check out the snapshot above of model Cara Delevingne working away on her latest woolen creation right before the Giles Fashion show. Cara isn’t the only famous face to be seen clacking a pair of knitting needles together either. Scarlett Johansson had to knit as part of her role in the film “Lost in Translation” where she knitted a scarf, the pattern for which is included in the “Mother of Purl: Friends, Fun and Fabulous Designs at Hollywood’s Knitting Circle’ pattern book by Edith Eig. She’s also been known t0 knit off screen too.  There’s also Debra Messing, Uma Thurman and Sarah Jessica Parker, just to name drop a few more famous faces who have all been known to knit.
