As you may already know, at Needlecase we run a wide range of knitting and sewing classes for people of all ages and abilities, so here’s a list of what we have coming up in the near future…
Knitting Classes
Beginners Learn to Knit Class

Three, two hour learning the basics you need to get going with knitting sessions from 7pm until 9pm.
The cost is £30 for all three sessions and will include all materials.

Shaping- Increasing and Decreasing Techniques
24th October 7pm-9pm

Picking Up Stitches
7th November 7pm-9pm
£4 for session
3.25mm needles needed
For this session you will needed to bring some knitting that needs stitches picking up OR a sample of knitting worked in stocking stitch using DK, yarn at least 15 stitches wide and 40-60 rows long.
Any additional materials will be provided.
Cable and Bobble Knitting
21st November & 28thNovember 7pm-9pm

Nadine Paver Classes
Do you worry about completing your garment when you have finished knitting?
Professional Finishing Techniques Workshop (Knitting)
3rd November 2013 10am-4pm
In this workshop you will learn a number of professional finishing techniques such as mattress stitch – sewing up your garments will never be a chore again. Three needle bind off, blocking your work to ensure a perfectly finished item, picking up stitches and fully fashioned shaping.
Sock Knitting Workshop
17th November 2013 10am-4pm
The cost of these day courses with Nadine Paver is £45 and includes all materials needed.
A £20 deposit is required immediately to secure your place.
Sewing Classes
14th Sept 2013 9.30am-12.30pm
We are delighted to introduce this workshop, with the talented Karen Willatt.
You will make a Felt Flower Garland like the one below which we are sure will look fantastic in any home!
The cost is £12.50 which includes all materials and is payable on booking. (This workshop will be at the special price of £10 per person if booked at one of our June events)
19th October 2013 9am-4pm
Karen will be running a full day machine sewing workshop where you will make either a bag or a cushion.
You will need to bring your own sewing machine. (Machines can be loaned-ask for details)
The cost is £25 which includes all materials and is payable on booking.
2nd November 2013 9am-4pm
Karen will be running a full day machine sewing workshop where you will make a Christmas Stocking.
You will need to bring your own sewing machine. (Machines can be loaned-ask for details)

Crochet Courses
Helen Jordan will be visiting Needlecase again throughout 2013 to teach more people to crochet.
