…and someone has been yarn bombing the statues of Leeds!
Now, in the square opposite the Leeds Grand Hotel you’ll find an abundance of Tour de France decorations: yellow blow up bicycles, painted telephone boxes, a pop up merchandise shop and yet more yellow bicycles!
However, our favourite example of Tour de France decoration by far, is most certainly the hand knitted, yellow (of course) jerseys adorning the statues!!
Pretty cool right? It’s certainly got us thinking about having a go at knitting our own Tour De France jerseys! We could even make them extra authentic by using Bergere de France wool!
